What is your Ambition?

20th September 2026   |   Daniel Macleod   |   Psalms 117

What is your ambition for your life? Psalm 117 is the shortest chapter in the Bible, but it carries an enormous vision: “Praise the Lord, all nations. Extol him, all peoples.” In this message, we explore how this tiny Psalm points to the enormous global purposes of God—and what it means for us to live with that same vision today. God has always been drawing people from every nation to himself. From Abraham, to Israel, and ultimately to the great multitude gathered around the throne from every nation, tribe, people and language, God's purposes have always been global. But what does that mean for us living in London? This message challenges us to reconsider our ambitions, priorities and purpose, asking whether the kingdom of God has a place at the centre of our lives. It explores three calls from Psalm 117: 1. A CALL TO GLORIFY GOD 2. A CALL TO MISSION 3. A CALL TO CONFIDENCE Whether you're working in London, studying, raising a family, or serving in the church, the question remains: What is your ambition for your life?
